A little help with your readings.
From choosing a display style to understanding a missing number, here is where to start.
Set up your menu bar
Open MacStatsBar and choose a style below each statistic. CPU starts as a percentage and memory starts as used capacity. Select Off for an item you do not want in the menu bar; its live card stays available below.
Choose Time, Date or Both under Date & Time if you want a clock. The clock follows the Mac's local time zone. Both includes the weekday, time, ISO week and date.
Look at a recent pattern
Use the 5, 15 or 60-minute control above the live cards. History is kept in memory for up to an hour and starts again when the app restarts. CPU and network charts leave gaps after sleep or a source change rather than joining unrelated readings.
A reading is missing
Give CPU and network a moment to collect a fresh interval. Network uses the active default-route interface, which may change when you connect a VPN or switch networks. A source change needs a new baseline.
Memory pressure remains unavailable until macOS reports a pressure event. MacStatsBar does not assume an initial state. Battery is Not present on a desktop without a built-in battery. Thermal condition is a system status, not a temperature sensor reading.
Open at Login and Reset display
Open at Login uses the normal macOS login-item setting. If macOS asks for approval, review the login item in System Settings. You can turn the setting off again whenever you prefer.
Reset display restores the default menu bar styles. It preserves the selected history window and login choice.
Ask for a hand
Send the app version, your macOS version, the reading you are looking at and what you expected to see. A screenshot can help if you remove anything personal first. You can use the same form for a question, feedback or a privacy request.
